Our world seems smaller every day as modern communication technigues allow us to partner with other businesses and clients around the globe. I have travelled on 5 continents and lived/worked in Papua New Guniea for three (3) years. The experience I have gained from my travel is a daily benefit to me in the business community.

As a Global Communications Coordinator, I oversaw the design and implementation of all print and electronic media for a world-wide non-profit organization headquartered in Kasas City and provided leadership, direction and training for Regional Communications Coordinators in 6 world areas. Writing and editing web content, news and event articles, and creating advertising layouts were a regular part of my duties.

I have experience and skills which include writing, editing, web site design, e-mail (marketing) campaign design and management, newsletter creation, advertising layout, logo formation, and the planning/development of events/presentations for audiences exceeding 8000.

I am experienced with daily challenges and utilized a vast variety of my skills while serving as a Global Communications Coordinator & Webmaster. Having gained the confidence and respect of both co-workers and partners, I was actively involved in management team participation; providing trusted advice; resource management (staff assistants and computer hardware); overseeing project planning and implementation; and hands-on production of web design and development.

A major accomplishment occurred while working for a paperboard manufacturring company (8 years). Initially hired as an hourly employee, I quickly received numerous promotions due to my dedication and work ethic. The company was purchased by a larger container corporation and I was promoted to V.P.of Operations and tasked with opening a new facility in Phoenix, AZ. I was given sole responsibility for deployment of this new manufacturing plant, overseeing more than 3 million dollars of corporate funding. I located and leased a building, oversaw the purchase and installation of printing and folding equipment and hired more than 80 full-time employees. When the plant was fully operational (1 1/2 years later) I was again promoted and returned to the corporate office where I continued in the V.P. position for three aditional years.

I am involved in literally every aspect of the internet and on-line marketing, promotion and services. My personal skills include content authoring, editing, web design, and web development (coding/programming) for web-applications.

As a Webmaster, my responsibilities included design and development of web sites and the maintenance/security of 3 public web servers. I have also managed several staff assistants (editorial, graphic design, and web application development) while being directly involved in the implementation of 14 new dyna mic web projects (both internet and intranet sites).
